Stephanie's BDAY

We had the best time for Stephay's BDAY !!! We went to twist and ate and then went to Opera to dance. For her actual birthday we went to dinner with her parents to the Atlanta Fish Market and had a wonderful dinner and then followed it up by going to the Tavern and meeting a few new friends!!!! It was a great weekend! We also went to the Inman Park Festival and walked around and saw lots of arts and crafts.... it was a beautiful day!

My Favorite Little People

These are my godchildren.... Avery Gail Merva and Michael Merva. Avery is now a little over 2 yrs old and Micheal is 4 mn old. I love them both dearly. Landon and Michael are two of my best friends and I loved the idea of being their children's godparent!!! I am such a sucker for them both... Avery is now in school and doing wonderfully and Michael is beginning to roll over and have wonderful expressions. Can't wait until I can take Avery shopping!!!

Art and Dance

For some reason lately I have been very drawn to music, dancing and art. I guess columbus high had an impact on me after all. I have seriously been considering taking up ballroom dancing classes again... yes I just said AGAIN!!! There are very few things in life that I enjoy as much as dancing.

An End to the Madness! Beginning of a New Chapter!

March 25th was the last day of didactic. We experienced 5 long quarters of PA school... including A&P, Small groups, random class changes and weekends full of geriatrics!! Its kind of odd looking back over this past year.... there were so many times that I thought it could not get any harder, yet it STILL got harder! But by the grace of god, we prevailed. Through my time in Savannah I made many good friends that I hope to keep for a long time. John and Victoria Colver lived in the same apartment complex as me and were always there for me whenever I needed anything. I am extremely thankful for them! I also became very good friends with several of the girls in the class. We would all go out together to our favorite haunts and had the best time doing even the simplest of things. And now all that is about to change... we are all going out to our first rotations.... going out into the real world to work on real patients. The thought is a scarey one, but exciting as well. We are about to embark on a new chapter of our journey. A journey that is sure to take many twists and turns but that will undoubtedly be the journey of a lifetime.

My Birthday this year landed on the first day of finals so Brandi and I decided to share our celebration since her birthday was on friday. We went to our favorite mexican restaurant here in Savannah, La Nopalera. There were roughly 20 of us and we enjoyed good company and good food, including our personalized cookie cake. Afterwards we went to Tommy and Libby's and played card games. Needless to say we atleast made the best of our situation and had two great birthdays!

On my actual birthday, after my final, Tor and John cooked me dinner (steak, potatoes, salad and funfetti cake)!! It was awesome. And then we watched twilight, which we are currently addicted to!

St. Patty's in good 'ole Savannah

This will probably be the last year that the Class of 2010 all get together for St. Patty's. Next year we will be busy with rotations and hopefully preparing to soon take the boards. I had never seen the parade before and thought that it was such a great experience. We had a wonderful spot on our square and our own personal porta potty made for an interesting discussion topic. All in all it was a great day!
